When you create an account, we collect your email address, password (hashed), and business name. During onboarding, we collect your industry type and the compliance items you select.
When you use the service, we collect data you enter including compliance item details, documents you upload, and usage activity within the dashboard.
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on AWS infrastructure in the US West region. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest.
Documents you upload are stored in Supabase Storage and accessible only to your organization. Signed URLs expire after 60 seconds.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate the platform.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted upon request. Contact hello@akcomply.com to request deletion.
You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@akcomply.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We use only essential cookies required for authentication (Supabase session tokens). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
